These terms are an agreement between you and [LEGAL ENTITY] ("we", "us") for your use of the Tastello app. By using Tastello you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Who can use Tastello

Tastello is about wine, so it is only for people who are of legal drinking age — 18 or over in the UK, or the legal age where you live. By using the app you confirm you meet this requirement.

2. Your account

You sign in with Apple and are responsible for keeping your account secure. You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account.

3. What Tastello does — and its limits

Tastello suggests wines and, where available, shows reference retail prices and how marked-up a wine may be. These are guidance to help you choose, not professional advice or a guarantee. Prices, markups, availability and recommendations may be approximate or occasionally wrong. Always check details with the venue or retailer before you buy.

Please drink responsibly. Tastello does not encourage excessive consumption.

4. Affiliate links

Some "buy" links in Tastello are affiliate links. If you follow one and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This never changes which wines we recommend to you.

5. Content you contribute (community menus)

Tastello lets you contribute wine lists and menus to a shared community database. This section governs that content.

• You keep ownership of what you contribute, and you grant us a licence to store, display and share it within Tastello so other users benefit.
• You must only contribute content you are entitled to share, and it must be accurate to the best of your knowledge.
• There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. You must not submit anything unlawful, hateful, harassing, obscene, defamatory, infringing, or otherwise objectionable.
• You can report objectionable content and block an abusive user from within the app. We aim to review reports and remove violating content, and may suspend or remove accounts that break these terms.
• We may remove or hide any contributed content at our discretion.

6. Acceptable use

Don't misuse Tastello: no attempting to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service, no scraping or bulk-extracting data, and no using it for anything unlawful.

7. Subscriptions (Tastello Premium)

Tastello's core features are free. If you subscribe to a paid tier:

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings; deleting the app does not cancel it.
• The current price and any free allowance are shown in the app before you purchase.

8. Disclaimers and liability

Tastello is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for choices you make based on the app's suggestions, for inaccurate prices or recommendations, or for content contributed by other users. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. We will update the date above and, for significant changes, let you know in the app. Continuing to use Tastello means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING LAW — e.g. England & Wales], and disputes are subject to the courts of that jurisdiction.
